We will be hosting our graduation this Friday, June 6th, 2025. As a friendly reminder, PISD will follow standard security procedures, including our clear bag policy and metal detector screenings at all entry points. Drinks will be available for purchase at the concession stand. Sealed water bottles are allowed upon entry; however, outside tumblers or reusable drink containers will not be permitted. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.

They received the official 25AY Awards letter from HQ AFJROTC.
PHS Air Force JROTC TX-20001st has earned two top level awards this school year.
TX-20001st received the highest rating possible for a Unit inspection this year with an, "EXCEEDS STANDARDS." This achievement is a prerequisite for the listed awards earned:
1. “Silver Star” Community Service with Excellence Award for AY 2024-2025 (Out of 828 Units only the top 42 units received this award) This is the 4th highest award possible to be awarded to cadets in the AFJROTC program.
Silver Star Community Service with Excellence Award - The Silver Star Community Service with Excellence Award will be an honor that emphasizes the value of community service, and establishes a greater sense of pride within the corps. The award will be given to cadets in the Top 5% of units (approximately 45 units) who have the highest "per cadet average" community service hours.
2. Distinguished Unit Award with Merit (DUA w/Merit) (Out of 828 Units only 227 Units received this award)
Distinguished Unit Award with Merit (DUAM) - Award consists of a ribbon awarded to cadets enrolled during the same academic year in which 1) the unit receives a HQ AFJROTC evaluation with an overall rating of Exceeds Standards and 2) the unit is selected by HQ AFJROTC to receive the DUA. Both criteria must occur during the same academic year. The unit will receive a congratulatory letter and a certificate of recognition which will be posted in WINGS.

AFJROTC cadets participated in a "Combat Dining" at Pearsall High School on Tuesday. A "Combat Dining" is the military tradition used to build camaraderie and esprit de corps while engaging in fun activities.

Congratulations to Addisson Farmer on passing her Medical Assistant State Exam!!! Addisson previously earned the phlebotomy technician certification, the EKG technician certification, and recently graduated from SWTXC as a Patient Care Technician.
