5th Grade Science students in Mrs. Sindon's class spent some time investigating biotic and abiotic ecosystems and documented their observations. Great job!

Today students in Mrs. Beaver’s class took a trip around the Sun without ever leaving the classroom! ☀️🌎🌙 Our scientists used a hands-on model to explore how the Earth’s tilt gives us seasons and how rotation creates day & night. We even connected daylight hours and temperature to how Earth revolves around the Sun! So many laughs, learning moments, and “WOW, I get it now!” reactions today! 💡✨ #FutureScientists #HandsOnLearning

Congratulations to Mrs. Bernal as being named support staff member of the week. Mrs. Bernal did an outstanding job this year with our book fair. She is also readily available for all students to stop by and check out a library book. She even makes sure their hard work gets rewarded through her AR prize point system. Behind every great school district is an amazing maintenance team that keeps everything running smoothly!

On March 4, we recognized Maintenance Appreciation Day and the dedicated individuals who work hard every day to keep our campuses safe, clean, and ready for learning. Their day begins early in the morning and often continues long after our Maverick students have left for the day. From fixing what’s broken to preparing our facilities for the next big event, their work often happens behind the scenes but never goes unnoticed.

Thank you to our Maintenance Department for everything you do for Pearsall ISD and our Maverick community! 👏🔧🧰

The Maverick Baseball home opener game will take place on Tuesday, March 3.
Our Pearsall Mavericks will take on the Bandera Bulldogs beginning at 5 pm, with JV and Varsity to follow at 7 pm.
Let's root, root, root for the home team and cheer on our Athletic Director, Joey Cantu, as he throws out the first pitch!
