The Pearsall ISD Board of Trustees has approved the 2025-2026 school year Compensation Plan at last night's special board meeting.We are deeply grateful to our Board of Trustees for their commitment to recognizing and rewarding the outstanding work of our staff. Their thoughtful leadership combined with the new funding provided through House Bill 2, reflects their strong support for our educators and staff and their dedication to attracting and retaining the very best for our students.🤘🏻🟢⚪

I bring my strong foundation in early childhood education, a heart for student growth and a mission driven commitment to every child's success. I have proudly helped with mentoring other teachers, have been a successful team lead and have assisted with programs such as the ACE program, after school and summer. As we prepare for the upcoming 2025–26 school year, we want to make our Pearsall ISD community aware of a new state law that will impact all public schools across Texas. The Texas Legislature recently passed House Bill 1481, which requires school Board of Trustees to adopt policies prohibiting students from using personal wireless communication devices during instructional time.
Our current cell phone policy for students which was approved by the Pearsall ISD Board of Trustees in July 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year, implemented the use of Yondr mobile phone security pouches on our Junior High and High School campuses.
We are looking to expand the Yondr program to our lower grade levels to comply with the state-mandated change. Pearsall ISD administration is currently reviewing the requirements of HB 1481 and are working to develop a plan that complies with the new law. More detailed information will be shared once an updated policy has been approved.

On March 26, 2025, the School Board of Trustees approved an amendment to the current school calendar. As a result, April 21, 2025, will serve as a Bad Weather Make-Up Day. Please note that both students and staff are expected to be present on this day.

The Pearsall ISD Board of Trustees would like to thank the staff, parents, and community for your survey input. Two hundred seventy-six surveys were completed during the open period.
The survey results guided our decision making in choosing the best candidate for our new superintendent.
